IGeographicCoordinateSystem¶
Package: inet.common.geometry.common
module interface IGeographicCoordinateSystem
Interface for geographic coordinate systems. A geographic coordinate system maps scene coordinates to geographic coordinates, and vice versa.

Description |

simple module |
Provides an accurate geographic coordinate system using the built-in OSG API. This is mostly useful for local 3D visualizations created with osgEarth. Scene coordiantes are in meters relative to the scene origin. |
|
simple module |
Provides a very simple and less accurate geographic coordinate system. The Earth is modeled as a sphere so you may get inaccuracies if you compare it to other wgs84 coordinates. Scene coordinates are in meter and are relative to the scene anchor point. It doesn’t support rotation so the X axis always points east and the Y axis always points south (to have the same handedness as the scene coordinate system)! |
|
simple module |
Provides an accurate geographic coordinate system: the scene coordinate frame is a local tangent plane pinned to a geographic anchor point and optionally rotated. Scene coordinates are in meters relative to that anchor. |
|
simple module |
Provides an accurate geographic coordinate system in which the scene coordinate frame coincides with the Earth-Centered Earth-Fixed (ECEF) frame (origin at the center of the Earth, Z towards the north pole, meters), using the WGS84 ellipsoid. |
